bramble basher
hi all just been given some once fired norma brass 270 was thinking of using them in my 25-06 my question is how easy is it is it just a case of running them through my full length die and trimming or is there a bit more to it i.e do i need to neck turn, or do anything with the inside of the necks thanks in advance b.b
1967spud
Looking at the cartridge dimensions and comparing, I don't see anything other than running the 270 thru a 25-06 FL die. The individual rifle will tell you if you have to ream necks but I doubt it will be an issue unless the rifle is custom barrelled. Normally, standard factory chamberings are pretty sloppy so the neck shouldn't be a problem.I meant to say i found this on google.j
Andrew
To do the job properly, neck the case down progressively until the bolt closes with a bit of pressure. This will assure a good fit to your chamber when fired. Be sure to trim!~Andrew
