drone Posted April 3 Report Share Posted April 3 I've been using magtech LR primers in 308, quite a bit softer than S&B, other than the associated issues with that as one approaches the DNE load in military cases (not in federal so far) they indicate a much flatter primer than the S&B with similar loads, I'm not concerned as most of my reloads are well down on the DNE load and also most are even less for cast boolits, in both 308 and 30/30 (which are no problem at all).
