PhilW
Hello to all, new to all this so still getting to grips with the way everything works. Currently tooling up my Colchester to re-barrel my Rem 700 222 and was curious to know if anyone out there has used any of the eastern European reamer tooling. It is very keenly priced compared to the stuff from across the pond. In fact if anyone has any recommendations for manufacturer's who are prepared to deal with enthusiasts and not just "trade only" I would love to hear about them. Like I said I have only just joined the site so have not yet trawled through the vast content to see what's out there. anyway cheers for looking. Catch-22
Use Geoff Kolbe of Border Ballistic Technologies (BBT). His reamers are excellent. I’ve had a few made by him and the chambers are excellent. Looks like his website is down atm, so maybe someone could share his contact details?!? Catch-22
Ah that’s a shame, Geoff’s reamers were excellent.
PhilW
Thanks for that guys....indeed a great shame. I didn't know if I had posted the msg in the right forum to raise any response. I am not in any way involved with the target scene but I gather there is quite a respectable contingent from across Europe and I am guessing they would be using home grown tooling where ever possible for their builds. The people who have jumped out at me from my searches are "razvertka". I currently have a 222Rem finishing reamer sat in "my trolley" which according to their checkout they can have winging its way to me for around $80.......yes that is dollars not GBP. I think you'll agree thats quite a reasonable deal....or am I quietly having my trousers pulled down...!!!

They were excellent reamers - fortunately I have quite an inventory of BBT You are as well contacting Manson Tools, JGS or similar in the states for reamers
