.224valkyrie I am getting under half minute at 600 yards bolt action

Good accuracy, economic powder and great barrel life 

I can't find anything not to like so far

Didn’t someone start making pretty much exactly this and call it the Fat Boy? 
 

Based on a .223 T3 with a really short fat barrel.

A few years ago Steve Kershaw built me a 20" 22BR custom rifle in an AI AX stock on a Stiller action.

3650 fps with 50grn V-Max behind N135.

Results speak for themselves....still shoots like that now. Thinking of re-barrelling to 22 creedmoor due to case prep for 22BR.

If you like faffing with case prep....22BR is a stunning cartridge.
