6mmBR
I,m so chuffed, I had a roe doe fawn this morning to complete my DSC level 2. I'm down in Cornwall at the moment stalking so was lucky to get an internet connection. So pretty busy writing up my portfolio to get it handed in. Out on the reds tonight so lets hope this sunshine gets them out. Going onto Rays over the weekend for some varminting so will report again soon. 6mmBR
Thanks for the replies guys. Keith and I are working on the Q/A's and putting the final touches on the portfolio. I really appreciate what Keith has done for me and helped me put a cracking portfolio together, he has been a superb AW. I'm down in Cornwall until next Monday so hope to catch up with the boys over the weekend for some varminting fun. Sadly no reds last night but did stalk a roe buck and 2 does in a group, but could not get a safe shot as the were skylined. Cheers Dave
provider
Welldone mate its a great feeling getting it all done. Be ready for the assessors phone call to verify that you know your stuff and the postfolio was done by you, mine took 40 mins but all was ok. 6mmBR
I've been very lucky and managed to do it over 2 trips to see Keith. Last trip I had 3 reds and a roe. This trip I've picked up 4 roe, its just gone very well and the portfolio has come along well. A fantastic couple of days. I had a cracking stalk this morning on a roe doe but could not get a satisfactory position for the shot and we just watched one another. A beautiful morning for a stalk.
