LONG RANGE CAPT
Can’t speak highly enough of the fantastic days shooting I had last week. 1. CoF was challenging but fun. 2. Stages RO’d safely and professionally. 3. The Health & Safety / Medical - part was well planned and briefed. (As one would expect from an activity planned by service personnel) 4. All shooters conducted themselves without fault and all had good banter thought out. 5. It was fun and very enjoyable. Would definitely commend it to all on here. Roy W
Out of curiosity John, what range do they zero the 45 degree red dots for? Are they for close up stages?
John MH
Infinity, if that makes sense. The dot on the secondary sight just has to be aligned parallel to the scope tube as it’s only used as an aid to rapidly acquire your target when the scope is set on a high magnification with a narrow field of view. That said I set mine up out of the bedroom window on a telegraph pole tip at about 400 yards and it’s done what it needs to from 100 tout to 1760 yards.
