Nup, just a friendly farmer or forestry owner :rolleyes:

The only slight "problem" on farms has been that some farmers muster them and they've been worth roughly $30/head in the past. Are slaughtered and exported to the Pacific Islands I think. The reality is much of the country they inhabit is steep scrubby stuff that is damn near impossible to muster with dogs as goats have enough cunning to avoid this.

 

Goats are great fun and an ideal target species for trying out the toys. The danger can be too many for the sake of your barrel- three of us gave up counting at 100 one day.

East coast of the north island,place called Motu.

 

Rifle in top is Tikka 243 and next rifle is Sako 375H&H,no need for 300GR bullet on goats,but good to practice with big bore for my up coming Sambar hunt.
