No i deer
Checked my new barrel chambering with the same bullets I was running in my old barrel and I found it was 18 to 20 thousanths shorter. To save any messing I've seated the ammo I had loaded at the shorter length ready for a new seating depth test. The loads were not near the the pressure but the new deeper seating may cause pressures signs..I will try a few and if there are I'll stop.. cooter
I found the same thing with the new barrel on my .223, and after seating them back 10 thou the FPS was up, but no pressure signs.
No i deer
The loads I reseated were fine and no pressure signs. I found an amax load today that shot well going 2800fps on 41.5grs of RS62 from a 24 inch barrel. I tried a 139gr scenar load on 41grs of RS62 but didn't quite shoot well enough. Seating deeper is my next thing. Tried them jumping 10,15,20. RS60 load did 2840fps on 39gr. Tried them jumping 15 and they weren't great either
