shootingbags
www.dcs.gov.uk - what a great wealth of information! I have purchased their best practice guides and have to say it is the best £15.00 I have spent in a long time. Well worth it.

tulkyuk
Very informative site - very good section on butchering deer and how to get the best 'cuts' of meat
shootingbags
If you are serious about deerstalking and see the excellent quality of the binder and laminated pages, I think £15.00 is a small price to pay and it is easier to use for reference rather than browsing web pages. It also supports the excellent work that has gone into providing this. ( It is a shame that the BDS or BASC haven't bothered to do anything like this )

Redfox
Well before throwing stones, remember that DCS is a goverment body not a charity (BDS) or a shooters club (BASC) and so doesnt have to find its own money for such things as publications. See here for more info http://www.bds.org.uk/useful_links.html Redfox
eldon
Fair point redfox but I'm sure if BASC had done something like this they would not have charged anywhere near £15, even if you were a member That might make membership value for money
Redfox
Nah with BASC it would have been £30.00 Redfox
