Whats the largest objective scope lens youve seen

Hi guys heres another question for you,

"Whats the largest Objective Scope Lens you have ever seen and do you think it was any advantage"

 

I know that Hensolt do the 72mm and USO do an 80 , but a few years ago I was on a Military Base and I saw a scope which was huge , but there was no name or any written marking , only the numbers for Zoom,which was mag from 10-50, it was a side Parralax and the tube looked to be about 45 mill.

I would have said that the scope had an objective lens of about 100mm(4" in old money) the stock was specially made as it had a real high comb .

Would have loved to know what that was, had a look through it and it was like looking through a window , real wierd after being used to 56mm lenses.

What have you seen kicking about?

Give it a few weeks, when I am off sticks I will do a dusk and night test 80mm USO sn9 v 58mm USO sn9, V Tpal 58mm V sn3 44mm and hope to see what the difference is.

Saw a scope in my preferred gunshop a couple of years back, had a 70 something mm objective. Strangest thing I'd seen lol, fella said it came of a military rifle and shouldn't really have been there, ah yes, gunshops, fonts of wisdom lol.
