levelplaying
Does anyone know if Roding Armoury in Romford might sell .260 ammunition. Would phone and ask but they're shut until Thursday Can't seem to find a dealer within a 30 mile radius of where I am that does. Based in Northwood. Middx. levelplaying
At this stage, I am not too particular until I get my self sorted with reloading equipment. In the meantime, something on the lines of the Remington 120 grain, Remington 140gr core-lokt, Federal Fusion, 120gr soft point, Nosler 120 ballistic tip. Xtrema
260 ammo is available but at horrendous prices plus a long drive. Load your own, it's the only way.

In the past I ordered some Remington 120 gr and it was very expensive and took a long time to appear. In the UK, reloading is the only practical option, unless you have deep pockets. You could ask one of the outfits that reload ammo to load some rounds up for you, but it will be dear. There was a recent thread on suppliers of reloading services. I got my first 260 rem in '99 and as I was in the US from time to time, bought ammunition there. I didn't reload for the 260 Rem until 2007. If I was starting from scratch today, I would go down the Creedmoor 6.5 route. Good luck. JCS
