MarkR
I run a SL7i-BL on my Ruger RPR 6.5CM and I am very pleased with it. I also have SL5's on both my 243 and 3006 stalking rifles.
VarmLR
I have 2 SL5s and they're great mods. The SL7 is quieter but also worth considering is the Aimsport Triton Predator with S/S internals at half the weight of the SL7 and about the same as the SL5 on noise reduction. I've a Triton Predator on my 6.5CM and i'm really pleased with it. The only negative i can say about it, is that it gets hotter than the barrel on my Tikka TAC1 6.5mm. No idea why... VarmLR
It's because the outer alloy mod barrel is much thinner than the rifle barrel and conducts heat very rapidly, so will heat up ahead of the main barrel. It is also swirling a lot of those hot gases around inside it. My SL5s get stinking hot too.
