njc110381
Now I've got my .375H&H I'm thinking I need to get the reloading kit together. It should save me some money, and besides that I quite enjoy it. I've found brass, bullets and reloading dies. I already have the press and powder as they seem to like the same powder as my 6.5x55. Problem is I use a Lee auto prime to prime the cases, and I can't find the shell holder to fit the H&H. Is there a manual way to prime the cases so I don't need to buy specialist kit, or does a shell holder exist but I can't see it?
Vermincinerator
NJC, As nearly every belted magnum case (apart from some Weatherby's) is based on the .375H&H you will have no problem finding a shell holder. ie: 300 Win Mag, 7mm Rem Mag, etc........... njc110381
Now I know where to look I've actually found the .375H&H listed as one of the calibres for that holder. They just don't list it on the data in the catalogue

A I have a 375 H&H for Elk hunting. In a decently designed stock, the recoil isn't unmanageable.~Andrew
Ronin
You sometimes find that with the larger cases that one has to relieve the upper edge of the Lee primer in order for the cases to fit into the shell holder without fouling the side of the primer tool body. If this happens use a sanding drum (with dremel) it fits and does the job perfectly - I had to do this for WSM and Lapua Magnum cases with my lee primer tools.
