Tubs
My reloading press has suddenly started to go very stiff and the handle will hardly move up or down I can almost lift myself off the ground to try and make it move, I can't see how or what's causing the problem any ideas it's a Rcbs rockchucker press. When not in use it's always covered up to help keep it clean.
JB1
Strip it, give it a good clean in solvent then put it back together having given it a good oiling. Bet you have some brass swarf wedged in the piston.

alpha1
Spray it with WD40. The ram probably needs cleaning.
deadcenter
Whenever my rockchucker get less smooth I give the ram a clean with WD40 or Ballistol on a cloth, wipe it dry and lube it again with a light coat of light oil.
