  1. I have a Meopta 6-24x56 RD and it’s very good in low light and under lamping conditions, daylight is great and tracks well ,but dont think a rear adon will fit, but they do a 6-18x50 with side focus/parralex that should fit and is a great all rounder. Just depends on what you want to spend and everyone’s eyesight is different, try and look through a few friends scopes and see what you like and can afford.
  2. Thanks for all the replies and information, just letting you all know I went for a 6mmbr, Tikka T3 action with a 22”Bartlin 1-8 Twist varmint profile barrel sat in a McMillan varmint stock wildcat evolution mod all done by Neil mckillop,he’s done a great job I’m so happy with his work.

    Trail cam

I use Panasonic Enloops rechargeable and they will last 3weeks and still have about 20% charge it all depends on how cold it gets and how many pics and videos its collecting in a day or week,if i put feed out i can easily get 300pics in a couple days of squirrels rats and pheasants and even small birds and mice, but i normally check the camera twice a week , don't forget a good SD card i use 128GB Sandisc.

    Trail cam

There are so many types of trail camera’s I have two which I use both fairly cheap but after hours of watching reviews on the tube I got my first one which is a campark T45a which is 16mpixels and full hd daytime video and also black and white night mode with Ir distance about 15ft not compatible to link with phones, but the second which is. Campark T86 is 20 mpixels and full hd video and night mode out to about 25 yards has Bluetooth and WiFi but is only compatible at Bluetooth ranges I get about 40yards away from the camera and can check the pictures and video without having to touch the camera and it makes it much easier to set up and see what your camera will see through your phone screen. The T45a set me back about £47 on Amazon and the T86 was about £75,just make sure you get good recharging batteries, both have been out in the frost and rain and British winter weather and work well , but no way near dslr camera quality for pics.hope this helps.
  5. As many of you may of heard about BASC has taken away the legal advice in the policy now and still charging as much. Well my renewal has arrived and I’m in two minds to stay with them after 20 years. Just curious what else is on offer out there I’ve had a look online but not for long. I enjoy vermin shooting with air guns and rifles and shotgun and also target and the odd bit of clays . Any ideas and info please.
  6. Ok thanks just thought it might be worth a look but only really in a bolt action.

Does anyone know if this caliber will make it into the Shops in the uk, it’s a hot topic on YouTube and the Americans , I’ve heard it’s now saami spec , just wondering if it’s going to be much different from the 6mm br any better or worse, or just another caliber for the Americans to play with.
