John MH
I had a 'shed' alarm fitted to the door that accessed the cupboard my cabinet was hidden in in a previous property and that was sufficient to satisfy the FEO at the time. Chanonry
The major benefit of an alarm to me was unexpected. When I go on holiday, I drop them a note reminding them that I have firearms in the house and if the alarm goes off to get round pdq. I get a very fast response ! Works both ways, they can't look for alarms then do nothing if it goes off.
