I treated myself to one of these today in 260 rem.

I got it home only to discover the safety doesn't work, the lever will not shift at all when cocked so it's stuck in 'fire'.

Anyone have an idea what would cause this?

I should have checked it before i left their premises in Sussex. That'll teach me rushing to beat the rush hour traffic.

That'll mean me doing another trip down the M23 then.

What trigger unit is in it? Some timney's snag as there isn't enough space for the mechanism to work - I had to have an AICS modified to take a Timney.

Which is irrelevant, coz if you're selling something it should work

I totally agree, it shouldn't of left the workshop without working properly. Pretty pants really.

As already mentioned in this thread (or another) I had a friend (RFD) who bought one and had no end of misfires

Turned out the headspace was far beyond GO it was no surprise

It's a Shilen trigger, i believe it's standard.

It get;s worse, i'll reveal why when i've had a chance to speak to them.
