justin credible
There seems to be some very impressive bullets available in the States made by Warner Tool Company, they are lathe turned copper solids which have very impressive BC's and have had rave reviews. The only downside is they are pretty expensive. Their website states that they are currently going through the export licence formalities and are looking to appoint worldwide distributors. Does anyone know if there are UK importers lined up yet? The other question is, if they do get imported, would they be OK to use at places like Bisley as I read a very old thread somewhere that said that lathe turned solids would not be allowed as their ricochet characteristics had not yet been established. baldie
No . Monolithic are not allowed at Bisley, or most other public ranges.
Ronin
Dave's quite correct, you cannot use solids at Bisley and other ranges, though you may use them at field firing ranges, such as Warcop, Otterburn, etc I suggest you try GS Custom HP line, if you are looking for available now lathe turned solids, ive been using them for years and the results are superb for managment purposes. justin credible
Thanks for the replies. I've never used monolithics so is it the fear of possible ricochets with them that is the issue that they are not allowed? Or the fact that they like to ricochet?
