Swarovski1
On stickledown this morning I had a wander around and stopped and watched somebody using a ft rifle in 300 wsm using 215gr berger hybrids doing 2950 fps ish.it was stunningly accurate.this chap let me have a look through scope and steer the rifle.it was very stable and I think I was holding the dot in the middle of the vbull and was probaly holding the dot inside 2 inches easily and it was pretty windy.with that combination no wonder it shoots so well. Chris-NZ
That chambering could get pretty wearing after a four-range shoot..
Swarovski1
I asked him about that and he loved shooting it.
DW58
What is an Ft rifle - it's not a term I'm familiar with?
MrCetrizine
I thought it was Field Target but 300 wsm is one hell of an air rifle.
DW58
I thought it was Field Target but 300 wsm is one hell of an air rifle. Could be - my .300 WSM certainly kicks a bit more than the average .22 air rifle and performs much better at longer range. Â I assume he means F-Class or F-Open? MrCetrizine
Most probably F/TR but turning up to a field target match with a 300 wsm would be funny. Especially when the little metal bunny disappeared into the next field.

justin credible
Most probably F/TR but turning up to a field target match with a 300 wsm would be funny. Especially when the little metal bunny disappeared into the next field. It would be F- Open class not F/TR, as F/TR is limited to either .223 or .308 calibres.
