duey Posted July 16, 2016 Report Share Posted July 16, 2016 The belted magnum sizing dies do not fully reach down to the belt on the case and therefore you can get problems with chambering rounds as the area just above the belt expands and is not resized This die resizes the area above the belt if I am correct In my thinking Have been considering one for my winmag cases for a while now Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Berserk Posted July 19, 2016 Report Share Posted July 19, 2016 When I had a 7RM this didn't exist. After 5 firings I started getting case separation just above the belt. These are meant to prevent this from happening! Great idea but having never used one or knowing anyone who has, it sounds like a great idea.
