New Moderator and New Bipod

Recommended Posts

Finally got my new Moderator for my 6.5x47 L rifle a new on the market from Calibre Innovations can be had in End Of Barrel and as an Over barrel is Aluminium Body and Titanium Baffles will have to work hard on my 16.5" barrel

and to replace the Harris Clone a Evolution Bi pod which has features from the Atlas and the Harris with Carbon Fiber QD legs I got the 8-11" short legs and the 12-19" med legs which can be swapped out or joined up for more height and a Tripod adapter

8-11" Legs (tripod adapter on the floor need to mount it to a std Tripod )

Engaged my brain and figured it out.....would be curious to hear how you get on. How many beer tokens did it skin you if I may ask?

Well as it was out and the camera heres the tripod adapter fitted onto my cheap Manfrotto tripod moved teh Bipod Unit back and turned it 180 deg towards the point of balance Which is actually under the AFG

quick n easy to swap around

Very nice looking rig is short all the rage now ?

No idea I built this for me to Stalk deer with, A long barrel is not needed and I see no point carrying the extra or threading it thro Bramble bushes etc ;) .

I have no interest in shooting over 5-600yrds with this and deer would be 200yrds and under with most under 100yrds Accuracy for that is considered as 4" grouping which this obviously smashes of the bench.

my other rim fires also have relatively short barrels for similar reasons 12.5" on the 22LR and 14" on the 17HMR and the fact much longer on these generally slows the bullet All are fitted with Moderators which automatically add length and move the Balance fwds .

If i was to build a Fclass/FTR rifle it would have a differnt calibre , longer barrel and no MOD etc :) but i wouldnt stalk with it

yep Alistair is a good guy

Nothing on their website regarding these, just get an almost blank page on their centre fire moderator page.

Very interested in their lifetime warranty on these, may just sway me from an ASE Utra.
