Last year I had a look at the Sako Carbon stock and thought it is very well made. They also had a stock without rifle to look inside. They certainly have a better method than conventional composite stocks but I think there are better ways of making a composite stock achieving more stiffness at less weight. Yetidude69 Posted February 1, 2016 Report Share Posted February 1, 2016 If i was in the market for an off the shelf factory light weight rifle, id be looking at the kimber rifles, a couple of guys i shoot with in NZ use them, great bits of kit for tahr and chamois hunting in the southern alps!
