stephentri
I tried them in my 6.5 x55 very accurate on paper but when I tried them on deer the fallow I shot the bullet just penciled through with out expanding, one of my friends had the same happen, stopped using them after that. Elwood
I have had the complete opposite of stephentri, but I probably would have been pushing them much faster, 3100-3200 fps, they were like a small nuclear explosion. I shot two mature Fallow does and I couldn't believe they damage the caused, I hate to think what a Roe would have looked like.

palo
I tried the 130 hunting vld in my 6.5x55 . Some bullets would do massive damage and others would pass straight through. I stopped using them after losing 2 fallow that ran off after well placed chest shots.

Roe
Had the same experience on red deer with 6.5mm 140gr Berger Hunting. First attempt and first shot pencilled, followup worked as it was supposed to and saved the day. Stopped using the bullets the same day.
