Grouse
Is it possible to alter the angle of a Lawton/Remington bolt handle so that it doesn't "lift" up as high to the scope eyepiece lens? Just wondering as it would be nice to try an add on NV, but not possible due to bolt handle. Not a problem with Sako 75 bolt lift.

I couldn't find anyone who was interested in doing the work. I think there's a gap in the market for bending straight bolt handles so that the scope clearance is improved. jcampbellsmith
I've done it on a couple of bolt handles I know you are a long way away from me, but at some point in the future I'd like to consider getting my Lawton 7000 handle adjusted. If I see an opportunity coming up, I will get in touch. Can you PM me your contact details? Thanks JCS

Also are there any negatives to having this work done? eg weakening bolt handle? Regards Grouse
