Scotch_egg
It depends on what you want. I have just ordered a Boyds laminate for my tc encore and a richards microfit laminate for my tikka T3. Both direct from the states. Both costing about £100. Its a bit of a wait though if they haven't got them on the shelf. Then there is the mcmillan's, roberts, wild dog and many more if you are after synthetic. In mu opinion the wild dog stocks from south yorkshire shooting supplies seem very good and worth a look. I dont know if they do left handed though, but they look farley ambi.

spanner
A Wild Dog at £400 or so surely negates the advantages of buying a Howa as its as much money as the rifle?

Only thing wrong with a howa is the stock. Put a nice stock on it and you've got a really good rifle. edi
