ds1
picked up a new range toy for folks to have fun with, http://s111.photobucket.com/user/davids-s1/media/P1012947_zpseyal8vqr.jpg.html] sadly semi auto only, but still better than nowt. It is a CZ 59 belt fed 7.62x54 UK ( UK in this case stands for Universal Kulomet = Univeral Machine Gun).....why universal? Because it can go from its current LMG configuration to a tripod and heavy barrel to make a MG. As the model number suggest 59.......stands for the year of introduction and is still in use (although I have seen units with FN Minimi also). It fires from a 50 or 200 round belt and box and operates from an open bolt. Barrel changes take about 10 seconds......so I bought a spare barrel as well. Impressive is the machined receiver and chromed bolt and carrier. Operation is similar to a vz58 using a falling block. The kids are looking forward to having some fun at the weekend
Shuggy
That has design DNA that traces back to the ZB 26 and of course the Bren Gun. Very nice!
ds1
The Bren name still continues with the 805 and 807 assault rifles...........the 805 being adopted by the Cz army, however it is a bit of a dog. I have not played with the 807 but it is said to be better.
