searlock
I use Lemi Shine dishwasher additive and pure food grade citric acid. works great. And I use distilled water so no water spots.
phaedra1106uk
Squirt of any non-bio washing up liquid and 1/2 a teaspoon of citric acid (main ingredient of Lemishine), sometimes a squirt of Birchwood Casey brass cleaner in a final rinse. Jewelers rouge is used in dry media (in very small amounts) and isn't needed for wet stainless pin media cleaning..

These two do the same job, softening the water. You may still need a detergent.
