I used dhl when I sent mine back and they were pretty good but I think most will offer the extra insurance upon request . Cheers

A bit off topic but I'd avoid DHL like the plague after a recent screw up. Just shipped a 30KG display stand to Germany via UPS in 2 days for £60, no agro and no damage!

Hi there lads I am sending my pm 11 back to Germany for a upgrade, need a currier can any of the members

on here recommend such a servise has to be insured for £4K thanks lee

Sent mine for a reticle change and used post office recommendation, just have to tell them that it's an optical instrument as they don't cover "glass items". When I asked they're meaning all glass items (vase, bowls etc) but a well wrapped optical instrument was fine.

Came to about £35 with tracking & insurance to £2.5K.
