londonhunter
I cannot recommend Reloading Solutions Limited in Oxford highly enough Friendly, family run, fast service, good advice and very nice showroom worth a visit. Anybody second that ? They specialise in mail order as well. and can ship propellant, but you may have to get a few of you to share the tnt shipping charges. londonhunter I understand you are in the north but distance is not a problem for them they always have time for me when I have a problem
nell
Thanks LH, i have used them in the past and had goog service, my problem is with powder and expanding heads and choice of primers, which are not practial to ship in small quantities unless anybody knows different Nell
londonhunter
You know what is there a shooting ground near you. Clay pigeon ones Try and make a deal with them since most of them have (owners) have RFD and can receive expanding heads and powder for you. If you share with other friends that will work. Well it has for me anyway Good little tip for everybody BTW
nell
Braidwood clays are not so far away, very friendly people, they are RFD will ask next time im there. Cheers LH good idea Nell

davo
Seconded Pete, I've had a few crap experiences in the Borders gun room, no discounts for large amounts spent, price changes on the spot even when you've clarified how much over the phone the day before and customer service!!! we won't even go there, absolutely not interested, spend yer money else where. MarinePMI
LOL! When you live in a town like Andy's it's a mixed blessing. Walk into the local trading post, walk out with a snack, some ammo, and some of the local indian trinkets...then drive 2 mins back to the house, drop off you stuff...then drive 2 mins outside town limits and start shooting prairie dogs... Now if you need something from Home Depot (B&Q for you UK guys), well that entails a rather long one hour drive...
shrek
Nell, im down dumfries and galloway close to newton stewart, i had the luxury of being in collage at penrith so i had a choice of Gardner guns, longtown. Charles Sykes of penrith of Browns guns carlise. I also think mossop guns in annan stock powder. If those all all out of your way the next best place i know is the Glasgow country sports who are very friendly an often stock a reasonable amount of powder and heads or continental shooting supplies in ayrshire, however im not sure wheather the stock reloading components. Its not easy for us northen boys i must agree, just have to save the pennies and buy in bulk.
