For it being a 10 Rnd mag, I wouldn't charge it with 10 (it will take 11) But even with 10 in It will not slip into the magazine housing smoothly but it will cycle. With 9 Rnds in which I would recommend, one as your not compressing the spring to much, and it will slide in and out of the magazine housing with ease and you get the addable click of the magazine catch engaging .

As with any magazine don't be lazy and leave it bombed up, You will not do it any favours and shorten the life of the spring.

There's a different school of thought from our American cousins on loading magazines to their full capacity and leaving them loaded for exetended periods of time, in fact they're of the opinion that what you've just advised is an urban myth...

I can see there view behind that interesting. But Iv chucked a number in the bin after tours (old pattern not E/P-mags) that have been left fully loaded and not touched. But Iv never gone into measuring the springs. etc Magazine Spring Experiment | Ballistics 101

But the British military normally buy cheap that which promotes growth and vigour at over inflated prices. You should see some of the new kit with the 2020 uplift, it should be used as a paper weight. The fact we used P-Mags on op's but then take a backwards step to the metal one is beyond me. But il be glad to be out and not doing anymore of the gun plumbing within military circles.

Anyway

These are good mags though. Iv used mine when iv been out check zeroing and playing about on targets. Im half tempted to get a second.
