baldie
Just finished these two very different sporters. First up is a Valkyrie Odin long action chambered in 7 x 64 Brenneke. It has a barley fluted, coated bolt and 20 moa rail. Barrel is a Bartlien , fluted, and fitted with a Valkyrie pepperpot brake and also an invisible cap. Tactical knob and the barrelled action is finished in Duracoat Parker. The stock is a long action McMillan HTG-Adjustable. I,ve fitted it with my long action floor plate, and the gun feeds from a converted .300WM AICS magazine. Fully bedded all the way through, and fitted with a Jewel trigger. Onto the second rifle. Again, this is a Valkyrie Odin, but chambered in .243 this time. Action has standard fluting and a ball handle. Barrel is a fluted Bartlien and screwcut for an ASE SL5 mod. Trigger is a jewel and the action is again, fully bedded al the way through, and has the usual 5 round floorplate system. Stock is a McMillan rem Hunter. Paintwork is Cerakote H series Armour black on the Action and H series McMillan grey on the barrel. This was done to match the colours in the stocks marbling, and has come out rather well I think. Its nice to do something a little different to black or green now and again. I currently have over 100 colours in Duracoat, and over 40 in Cerakote actually in stock. Norfresh
2 beauties! I had great intentions when getting a rifle built recently...but when the time come to finalise the colour I reverted back to black!
Cumbrian 1
Cheers Dave I can't wait until I pick up my 7 x 64, it looks stunning. It will be heading out with me this autumn for Carpathian Chamois, pyrencian chamois and a stag in the French alps, I'll post a report after the trip. srvet
Both very nice indeed. Can I ask if the AI mag on the picture of the 7x64 is a 5 or 10 round capacity? Cheers
