Not going to ask about how you have done the baffles as you may be considering patent........? Re the 6mm BR, does the Tikka feed from the mag? Patents apart from great expense are only available on new ideas / technology, moderators however tricky the baffles would not qualify as they have been in the public domain for donkeys years. If your design is new and unique you could claim copyright on that design at that time but would have to prove it was entirely your independant design and supported with drawings and technical calculations!. shrek Posted March 17, 2008 Author Report Share Posted March 17, 2008 the post was initally started for my new rifle, the mod was just abit of fun, however due to the interest i'll continue hehe, Ronin, mod weights 680grams according to the kitchen scales and i wont be going into production i just cant be arsed paying for somthin which i know i can do myself! baffels: 7 simple turned alumininm flat 8th inch thick, with approximatly 15mm aluminimun spacers between each. performance: very good, its only on a 6BR so its not got a vast amount of gas to contain, should think its reduced noise by 2 thirds and taken the small amount of recoil away completly. the photo below shows a group shot at 100 yards with barnes varmint grenades, whick apparently "dont shoot" Just need to play with seating depths now [/img] As you can see it doesnt affect the accuracy!!!
