Anybody had any experience's with the Flir TS32 compaired to the HD38S?

Read a few reviews on each but would prefer some comments off the site.

hi I have the HD38S and also live in N.Wales if you want to have a look?

Just googled the TS32 and a link to this came up......

http://www.flirshop.com/product/ts32-pro-reconditioned/personal-vision

According to the spec it's a 7.5Hz model....... this spec alone will drive you nuts with the picture lag if you pan with the unit!

The HD38s is 30Hz, the Guide 518whatever is 50Hz.

I've got a 38S and it's pretty bloody good!

Just googled UK pages to get an idea on price and Scottcountry's ad popped up:

http://www.scottcountry.co.uk/products-FLIR-Scout-TS32-and-TS32PRO-Thermal-Imagers-5489.htm £4354 or £5226.00 for the "Pro" version

Compared to £2899 for the 38S and I see the Guide 518c EC is down to £4365.95 - The 518C has a 50mm lens compared to the 38mm of the 38S..... ie better definition

There are places cheaper if you hunt around... for example there are occasionally ex-demo 518c's around £3k.

Armstrong Optical are always competitive on Guides but then they don't do Pulsar.

38S to the Flir..... no contest.

Cheers

Fizz
