SteveW
I'm looking for a decent set of 30mm picatinny scope rings for a 284 Win stalking rifle. I have a set of steel NightForce scope rings but they weight a ton, and was hoping for some advice on a lighter set of quality rings to suit the picatinny rail, what options do I have? Thanks Steve
robson
you should have a look at burris xtreme tactical rings ! they are aluminium

Jagged 77
If you can get hold of any (try Scott at Liberty Optics) I would recommend Seekins Precision rings without a doubt.
gun nut
Burris signature zee rings are your answer, and for people who think they aren't up to the job, the new 600yd record was set by a guy using said rings.
SteveW
Thanks guys, the Seekins look nice without the big tactical styley clamp base screw, more suited to a stalking rifle. Tps alloy rings are excellent Gary, did you get yours from a UK supplier or someone like Brownells? Does anyone have any experience with the TET rings, UK made

The Gun Pimp
What's wrong with Third Eye rings? Light, superbly made and reasonably priced.
SteveW
What's wrong with Third Eye rings? Light, superbly made and reasonably priced. Hi Vince, nothing wrong just there was no feedback on the TET rings, plus with the TPS's I can get mounted slightly lower using their "low's"
