quiteman
Hi all. I have a Sako 75, 20 Tac with a Ziess 6x24x56 and i find that the turret housing is up against the inside of the first ring and will not let the scope to come back more, i would like to know if someone out there that makes a base which is the other way round that wound allow the ring where the pin is on the base now or can someone suggest some mounts to allow the scope to come back more. And this has tapering integral to the action. Thanks Chris
jcampbellsmith
I have seen these Sako rings discussed from time to time. Had I known about them, I might have got a set when I had a Sako 75. They may help address your issue. http://www.sako.fi/optilockproducts.php?ringmounts Another option is to put a rail on your Sako, again I might have done this myself if I had not sold my Sako 75. http://www.eurooptic.com/roedale-picatinny-rail-for-sako-75-85-alloy-20-moa.aspx Looking at the prices of some of these rails, it might be cheaper to change scopes? Can you post a photo of your set-up? Regards JCS
