dannywayoflife
Is there a web site that lists G7 BC's? I can't find one listed anywhere for the sierra 6.5 140 smk.

Davy
It may be in the second edition of the Litz book, I only have the first book which lists the 142 SMK only.

Davy
Unconnected however the G7's I really want to know about are the new Lapua Scenar type L 6,5 136's and .308 155's. In fact I am not even sure I have seen G1 numbers for them.
Wiltshire Boy
One of the american forums gives a G1 for the 6.5 136 Scenar L of 0.6 here: http://forum.snipershide.com/range-report-exterior-ballistics/172086-lapuas-new-136gr-6-5-scenar.html No idea whether it's correct or not !! In any case they seem quite pleased with them. I've just worked up a load with them in my 6.5 x 284 and they group well, haven't tried them passed 300 yards yet though but initial tests look encouraging. brown dog
If someone wants to run a lapua doppler chart for them 100m intervals, 100m zero and the drops in cm or milrad at each distance I'll work the G7 out for you.
Davy
Thanks for the link, I have a few hundred of the 136's for a 6,5-284 as well, shooting with N560 and I was going to start with my 139 load and work up a little. Sorry about the thread hijack Danny.

Wiltshire Boy
Ditto with the 560, I just used the 139 data. My load is 53.5 grains 20 thou off, seems to work pretty well. Haven't chrono'd it yet. Cheers Rich
