17Rem/6BR Posted May 29, 2013 Report Share Posted May 29, 2013 I painted the wooden factory stock on my 452 Varmint with Rustolium Stoneguard paint, the stuff you spray plastic flower pots with to make them look like stone . It looks great until you take it out shooting,when it very quickly looks like it's been ploughed into a field and dug up again as every bit of shite sticks to it. DOH !! triggersqueezer Posted May 29, 2013 Author Report Share Posted May 29, 2013 ooops did not go to plan then ,the tikka has been duracoated over a year ago ish and there is not a mark on it.the ceracote bauldie did on the bolt and action dispite metal on metal is still black.can't give dave all the credit mind i tuck my rifles in at night and tell them i love them.
