bradders
Apart from the obvious, what kit do you need for a day doing CSR, mags how many, rounds QTY, anything else ?? Generally 4 mags will suffice and matches are usually no more than 100-110rds per day. Decent boots and waterproofs. That's about it basically
John MH
You'll also need a gun.
Sapper811
If someone wanted to try CSR is there any way to meet someone who could show them the ropes in terms of shooting at Bisley and what to expect at a CSR shoot ?
John MH
Yes, just let Bradders know and turn up at a match, you'll get one to one coaching and loan of kit if required.

What's the deal if you've not got a Safe Shooter Cert? No shooty?

Is there a match planned prior to the Imperial ? If not would a CSR novice be welcome to attend as his first match ? Seems there's 3-4 people on here who would like to try CSR and who would welcome a shove in the right direction.

Then nothing else with the NRA until the Imperial, novices are always welcome and you don't need to enter all of the Imperial Matches if you are not confident or have the time, I think that if there are limited places available they do give priority to those who are shooting the whole meeting. bradders
All are welcome and can be accommodated . There's always a spare gun and ammo around, although we'd prefer you to use your own where possible :-)
