Davy
Heavy Plinkers seemed to sum this up rather nicely. Three arrived on a pallet today - .50BMG Fortmeier designed by the same chap as the Steyr HS50
Gandy
Does the barrel have a shroud toward the action or is it a funny barrel profile?
Davy
It is a funny profile, it is also very heavy. We spent the afternoon pulling it apart and discussing some modifications. It does have some handy feature's such as the the bolt front drops out of the tube by unscrewing the bolt handle and the barrel is removed with two machine screws so you can swap from say .50BMG to a .338LM in a couple of minutes. M99
Ok ok - I've turned the bloody foam around just to shut you up now! - It was that was to keep the serial number uppermost for Customs/ITAR inspections and keep the weight over the wheels!
