stag1933
Hi shrek. Photographing the rutting activities of `homo sapiens` could be a serious health risk if you were caught. Ratty called the other day and collected some of my Federal Match Primers that he was lusting after. HWH.
Guest northernchris
Stag What lense are you running on your SLR ?????
stag1933
Hi NC. That is the Sigma 170-500 mm. APO lense on a Nikon D80 body. I also have a Tamron 28-300 mm. lense which is much more compact but of a shorter focal length. I think todays `best buy`for the occasional user is the Panasonic FZ18 camera which has a Leica lense. It is light, very compact, zooms out to 18X [35mm.equiv.28-504mm.] and has useful, simple, `in-house`facilities. Try feeding fz18 into Google search, this model can be bought for less than £250 . I had the older FZ7 model which I sold at a small profit and upgraded to the FZ18. HWH.
Guest northernchris
I use a little Panasonic ,Lieca lensed compact and a Cannon Digi SLR for which i have been looking for a good "longrange" lens for those bigger distances.
stag1933
I bought both the Sigma and Tamron lenses off E Bay s/h for much less than new price, both were in `as new` condition and cased. HWH.
