dorg
Having heard 'GRS' one too many times, we came up with this this afternoon. Is this something anyone would be interested in? Remember we can put this grip with any butt and forend, in any colour. Will probably retail for around half the price of the Norweigan counterpart too. http://i1278.photobucket.com/albums/y515/joewestriflestocks/SDC11289_zps78f1106d.jpg http://i1278.photobucket.com/albums/y515/joewestriflestocks/SDC11288_zps6f4fb02d.jpg http://i1278.photobucket.com/albums/y515/joewestriflestocks/SDC11287_zpsb017b263.jpg
dorg
Better photos to come when we put the grip into some laminate.
baldie
It needs to be a very close copy of it , not something relativly close. Its a unique design that works very well in my opinion. Its also got another major selling point...the quality adjusters in the cheekpiece and butt plate. Good luck with a british version !
dorg
We have disected a GRS stock and although their adjusters are a good design, we do feel, how we do it it is better as with ours you can set the hights and lenghts then remove and replace to the original settings. We have shown our grip to several shooters on the industrial estate we work on, and most agree our grip being slightly thinner is better to grip, not being so wide between the thumb and forefinger. We have retained the angle of the pistol grip as that does work .We do not want to produce a platant copy of a GRS stock but want to give people looking for this style of stock another option. jcampbellsmith
I looked for a good thumb hole stock for 8 or so years and this is where I have got to. I think the following stock takes a lot of beating. http://www.thestalkingdirectory.co.uk/gallery/member-galleries/p2948-remington-700-sa-in-260-rem.html Easy to use prone, sitting or standing and a left hander can use the rifle too. Elwood
Am I the only one that thinks the GRS is utterly butt ugly?
Danpd
Am I the only one that thinks the GRS is utterly butt ugly? Nope, I cant stand them either. especially not for that price. Turns a nice rifle into some 10/22 wannabe super sniper lump of shite looking thing.
