walkabout
G'day I am about to mount a new March scope with a Third Eye scope Unimount on to my new 6.5x47 build. What recomendations for the correct Torque settings for the Unimount base screws & ring screws? Thanks
happyhunter
Hi, not 100% on this but Iam sure it's something like 65 for the base screws and 15 for the ring screws. Am sure the instructions with the scope would be your best bet. Hope this helps, Simon

Chris-NZ
.. something like 65 for the base screws and 15 for the ring screws... What, kg/metres? That's about what your average goober uses judging by the unbelievable rings marks on some scopes. They must put a pipe extension on the Allen keys.. TonyH
G'day I am about to mount a new March scope with a Third Eye scope Unimount on to my new 6.5x47 build. What recomendations for the correct Torque settings for the Unimount base screws & ring screws? Thanks I always use the figures I got from Leupold: base screws 14 in/lbs, ring screws 15-17 in/lbs, and 45 in/lbs on the windage screw Don't know if they will suit your setup, but they work for me on (usually) Leupold rings & bases.
