taylor Posted January 16, 2012 Report Share Posted January 16, 2012 he had probs with bullets blowing in his 7mm- 338lap mag he did mention getting a reamer for the 300 norma mag ,looks verry intresting though ,i think it would be a pain forming brass all the time ,and the recoil would be pretty intence for a 2x20 of string shooting all day long give you a nice headache Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
dannyt Posted January 16, 2012 Report Share Posted January 16, 2012 Thats right he did .That was with a 7mm338 with his own hand made 210 grn 7mm heads , the thinking was that the bearing surface was to great ,stripped to much jacket while in the barrel. Talking to him at last years Euros he told me he had a wildcat 308 norma mag reamer to push the 210/230 grn 30cal heads between 3000/3200 fps.
