My .22-250 is not shooting very well this winter season on foxs .Have it for over 20 years so owes me no money .My local gunshop has offered me a rebarrel with a new-zealand barrel maker called true-flite.Is there any one who heard of them ?Do they do different grades ?

Have a look here John http://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=true%20flite&source=web&cd=8&ved=0CE8QFjAH&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ballisticstudies.com%2FResources%2FArticles%2FTrue-Flite%2BRifle%2BBarrels%2B%2BMy%2BCustom%2B7mmRUM.html&ei=3SbJTtX0K8Sx8gPCo7hp&usg=AFQjCNHFEjX7DNE5RkTK27CLrNteqtG-OA

Plenty more info on the net about them.

Thanks for the links, they sure seem a fine replacement barrel for my ruger .How can one tell what grade of barrel they are getting ,by looking at the barrel ?Is it written on the blank barrels?

Ditto for me ...Dave fitted and chambered a Truflite 260 Rem barrel and it shoots beautifully

Lol yes certainly we've heard of them my friend :) They make some of the finest barrels out there and would be a very wise choice. There are different grades but AFAIK the UK importer, Brian Fox, only brings in the top grade ones.

I have one and it is a top barrel and i recommend that brand wholeheartedly. Make sure you research the best twist rate for your calibre/bullet choice.

Best of luck with the rebarrel job, Richard :)
