sir-slots-alot
Had a great day with my mate Nige ( AKA Minkstone ) The weather was kind to us with winds of between 2 and 4 mph. Taking advantage, I decided it was a good day to stretch the 22.250's legs. A few targets where set out at 1067 yrds away. Two balloons and a 10 inch steel gong. Here is the video of it ...Note ..the shots are taken consecutively with no shots in between. The camera is stopped to ensure no barlambs are present http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lkqj0ZLqBJs ( Watch on large screen mode ) The day was capped off with a two fox which Nige slotted with his 17 rem - one of them was up a hill and obligingly rolled down to us to have its picture taken. http://i552.photobucket.com/albums/jj347/sir-slots-alot/work285.jpg ( not sure how to post as a picture ... HELP ) Cheers fella's Alan

sir-slots-alot
Hi. I make my gongs out of Pipe spades which are used to blank off the end of pipes and tubes in industry. http://www.crp.co.uk/piping.aspx?page=57 I just cut the handle off , drill a hole to hang them and spray them white. Scotch_egg
made me smile. Al, Great shooting, how do the gongs stand up? I was looking at getting some made but this would be a whole load easier.
sir-slots-alot
made me smile. Al, Great shooting, how do the gongs stand up? I was looking at getting some made but this would be a whole load easier. I use sign frames , we had a few of them at work that where getting binned , so I snaffled them. They are the same as the ones used for road signs. A hole drilled in the frame and a couple of chain links for the gong to swing does the job nicely.
