Is there an advantage of the KMR over Shehane Ian ?
Yes Andy, primarily the use of N165 to get Shehane speeds at 2930 fps, something I could never do with the Shehane. The extra case capacity also allows for a higher velocity than a Shehane if you’re chasing speed.
The gain over the Shehane is the same as the gain a Shehane has over a .284 W

This cartridge is ideally suited to the available and very barrel friendly VV N165.

What is the COAL on this round?
That’s all dependent on the bullet you choose.

7mm KMR reamer with two cuts, basically it’s a .284 ackly improved, 316 neck which means minimal neck turning. Set of Newlon custom dies, FL, Neck bushing and micrometer seating die, 200 fire formed cases, 4 times fired with at least another 4 firings of life. 1 Hornady modified case.
This cartridge is more than capable of pushing 180 grain projectiles up to 3000 fps, but mid 2900’s is more common.

Not trying to burst your bubble, but the bottom target was shot on a TR target, which is twice the size of a F class target.
The top looks respectable but elevation has killed you, you’ll need to hold 1/2 MOA elevation or less to be truly competitive. Get a load that shoots super flat and then work on the wind.
GB F class association is holding a introduction to F class weekend in March, I will try to get the details put on the forum.

Tell us more about this annealer
Quick annealer, South African made, supposedly better than the AMP and cheaper to boot, time will tell.

I have one unopened tub of RL16 which I’m embarrassed to say is £75, or I would swap it for RL23 ( fat chance 😁 ) or 1kg of V N555 and a cash adjustment.
Can meet at Bisley or collect from West Sussex.

John, from everything I have read (probably the same source as you ) accuracy wise there won’t be anything in it, but the Garmin will just be so much easier to use.
and yes I have my name down for one.
And now there’s a new and supposedly better induction annealer coming on to the market…

One 8 lb tub ( a few ounces short ) of RL 26 £520 which works out at £65 lb
Sorry but I won't split.
Based in West Sussex but I'm often at Bisley.

Hello,
Does anyone use a light filling for their rear bag , for F Class ?
I have heavy sand, but it means the bag weighs on tonne.
There must be a better way !
James
There isn’t.
