  1. šŸ˜‚ very true! From 22degree 2 days ago to 6 today
  2. It was worked up to 46 grain before experiencing pressure that was just shy of 3000fps I run 28ā€ barrel. Thatā€™s been the key to my high velocity I would think. it certainly sounds it Andy, how long a barrel are you running?
  3. Thatā€™s interesting to hear, it will be good to find out how the barrel copes with the rs60 especially in competition use etc. no itā€™s a 6.5CM in SRP brass 44.7gr
  4. Steve, I would buy BRAND NEW brass and start again. As Dave has said it does sound like your reloading method. with brand new cases run them through your correctly set up FL die ONLY to neck them down. Without seating bullets etc run them Through the chamber. If all is good load a couple up fire them off and see how your extraction is. if extraction is hard, measure your headspace with the primer removed on the fired case and then correctly set your die up to bump the shoulder back 1-2 thou, then cycle through the chamber to make sure they chamber and extract easily. if they donā€™t and you end up bumping the shoulder back say 5thou then itā€™s not the shoulder thatā€™s the issue itā€™s most likely the body or web of the case. try dropping your charge weight 10% and work back up but keeping within easy extraction
  5. 20cal 41gr case capacity 36.6gr of N550 39gr bullet 26ā€ barrel 1.902 case Length first time I used it predicted 4206fps at 52595psi - very close to my findings with the chrono I tried again last night with the exact same data input and got 4378fps for 59708psi it did predict the load density at 95% both times but all other results were different
  6. Is there a reason you chose to run that powder over the likes of RS62 or even N160 / n165? I get very similar speed to you using N160 with 147eld
  7. Hi Geoffrey, I have Inputted exactly the same info on 2 separate days and had 2 Considerably different results. Have you updated something in the last few days? its with viht n550 the first result was pretty much bang on for velocity and expected pressure for my current load, it matched very accurately to the software, however tonight itā€™s way off
  8. I know of x2 24ā€ 22 creedmoors shooting 75gr bullets at 3500. personally I would go 8 twist And shoot the 85.5berger or 90atip
  9. Case trimmer No longer required, trimmed between 100-200 22cal cases only. includes box etc
  10. As new only used to size 100 new cases .245 .240 .230 Ā£15 each + postage
  11. Thanks for clearing that up, does the older trigger look like itā€™s had some work done on the sear?
  12. The trigger marked Finland on the side... is that a tikka 595 trigger?
  13. hi andrew, yes that is true but itā€™s totally night and day difference. I would estimate the t3x trigger pull is around 2.5lb maybe more
  14. I have a t3 and a t3x, they both have light weight trigger springs fitted, the t3 has a very light pull weight, Iā€™m guess 1lb maybe less. Itā€™s a lot Lighter than the t3x with light Weight spring fitted. if I remove the spring from the t3 and put it in my t3x it is still not as light as it would be in the t3. how can the exact spring be different in 2 different rifles? the trigger unit in the t3 has Finland wrote on the side and the t3x trigger has toy08 on the side and is slightly different? can anyone help me out on this issue as the Trigger in the t3x atm is far to heavy.
  15. Dave, have you noticed much difference in small/large firing pins with loads which rounds utilise SRP? with my load Iā€™m using large rifle pin in Lapua SRP brass, the primer is cratered due to the pin, would a small pin do away with the cratering or would the full load need to be redeveloped etc?
