Using my Remington short action in 308 and now shooting 284 Winchester I wonder if the bolt face would take 6br ? Utilise my Mcree stock with rail for Fclass bipod and having changeable Benchrest forend and bag rider for Benchrest. Use 10-50x60 sightron with Tier mounts ,have 1-9 barrel 30” for Fclass shooting 180 scenar L and Benchrest barrel about 28” long.shooting 105 scenar L Depending which calibre for vermin and Deer screw cut with protector and using suitable moderator. I wonder if feasible The rifle will be heavy .

Thanks for the input. A rifle with switch barrel would be nice . something to think about in due course .

If there was a ideal world 1 rifle to cover all disciplines in theory reducing the running costs of 2 rifles not just in reloading wear and tear of barrels. Keeping things as simple to a point it’s a option I want to look into.

Hi is there a rifle that could be used for Fclass and Benchrest 1000 yards along with vermin control fox and deer culling? the rifle needs to have options to take suppressor and optional mag feed . I will be reloading for the rifle . any thoughts thanks nick
