  1. For sale ,AI AX 308 rifle in pale brown finish with the addition of 26" 6.5 C/M barrel which has a profile to match as closely as possible to the AI profile, it was chambered and matched to the rifle by Dave Wilde at Valkerie Rifles using a new Bartlein blank ,the end of the barrel is threaded to accept the AI tactical brake and cerokoted in pale brown to match the factory finish by Dave. This is essentially a new rifle only having fired "17 " rounds of factory hornady in 6.5 CM ,and 1/2 a dozen through the 308 barrel . It is as near to new condition and is as you would expect .i bought this new in 2017 . i am asking £5250 for the rifle with "1" magazine In addition to the rifle I have a lot of accessories which I have deliberately not listed as it saves me having to reject enquiries to sell bits off prior to the sale of the rifle, if there is interest in the rifle I'll happily chat about the other kit as an option for the buyer should they be interested. Happy to chat to anyone seriously interested , thanks for looking
  2. This is a cracking deal, take it with you shouldn't be to much hassle, you could maybe get an RFD to export to a dealer over there until you're settled. Also I bet if offered for sale over there it would be snapped up,good luck.

  7. Hi terry and moorlander, Ok ,I'd love to claim this as my own but wife's mothers recipe, 1/shallots purchased on line from "Parrish farms" medium English shallots ,if these are medium glad I didn't go for large! £7.49 for 4kg method 1/ peel shallots and cover in brine ,1tbl spoon salt to 1 pint water cover bowl with a plate to ensure they stay fully submerged, for 24 hrs, drain but do not rinse! 2/ dry between tea towels when fully dry pack into jars tightly! 3/we use sarsons classic malt pickling vinegar heat gently in pan but do NOT! Boil, add sugar at a ratio of 7dessert spoons sugar to 1ltr of vinegar/ if you prefer a bit more kick add 3 dried red chillies and half tsp of mustard seeds, 4/ allow sweetened vinegar to cool fully then pour over onions ensuring they are completely submerged , 5/ wait around 6-7 weeks and that's it , as you say cold meats on Boxing Day bubble and squeak ect, tend to have ploughmans lunch strong black bomber cheddar crusty bread Saturday lunch drool! Good luck

  11. Hi mark mine is similar but 26" 308 ,also 26" 6.5cm which Dave from Valkyrie made for me ,I've only just run it in and need to find more time to enjoy it properly luckily I have land approved for the creedmoor and need to get reloading for it ,early signs are very good using hornady factory ammo , I bet the 20" barrel makes it more manageable I nearly went for that on the 6.5 but thought I'd see how I get on first ,can always get it shortened later !
