If you look up cavedweller1959 ,Youtube Cz527 Glass edding 17 Hornet , and Cz 527 17 Hornet Glass bedding the pillars. Hope this helps i have done my 2 17Hornets thsi way and a .22 Hornet they all shoot very good now compared to straight out of the box.

Only RWS brass i have is/was .22 Hornet necked down to .17 hornet

Hi i am looking to change from normal scope to a dedicated nv scope on my 17 Hornet , Upto now i have looked at Sightmark wraith and ATNxsight 4k , Any suggestions on these two nv or any other nv to look at .? Many thanks Furyan

I try to do my bit Mainly with the 17Hornet on crows/pigeon setting some decoys out at about 300yrd ,I do use the 47L sometimes for furrther stuff and if wind picks up . Best do on the Crow to the Hornet think was 67 , 1 maggie after 2 barrle cleans . Cant wait to get back out

I could`nt get on with Lilgun in my 527V 17Hornet so i stick with Lovex DO63 i also stopped using 20grn in favor of the 25grn Hp . took some quite amazing shots with the combo i have and homeloads .

Thanks Terry Im used to shotgun manufactured load using commercial powder. Anyway ive settled on N140 and 123grn ELD and 130 eld for now. when work allows ill get out to play

Would Lapua them self's not be using a commercial version of N150 , Bit like shotgun manufactures wheres as in we get the sort of (tame powder) version for homeloading ?

Thanks Catch-22 Ive gone with N140 and 123grn Eld M see how they go . I know the eld m and amax shot the same in my old varget load , but was having trouble with cases . Reduced the powder charge now no issues.
